The Senior Singing Strings will once again be performing at the annual ‘Serenade to Spring’ fundraising dinner for the PEI Symphony Orchestra at the Rodd Charlottetown Hotel on June 7th, 2014.
If any parents are interested in coming to the event, which includes a silent and live auction, entertainment by the Singing Strings and a wonderful three course meal, tickets are available through the PEISO office at (902) 892-4333 for $90 each, which includes a $50 tax receipt.
If anyone has anything to donate to the silent auction, the Symphony is accepting all donations of good quality items! All donations receive a tax receipt for the full value of the item in return, and in return for the donation, the PEISO would like to offer you a pair of tickets to one of our 2014-15 Season Concerts. With Mark Shapiro as our new Music Director, and a fantastic ‘Celebrate Canada’ PEI 2014 concert in November, this will prove to be an exciting season! Our gift to you would be valid for two tickets to your choice of one concert from any of our October, February or April 2014-15 concerts (excluding the November concert).
The Senior Singing Strings will be performing during cocktails and dinner – call time is 5:00pm, and we will be performing from approximately 6:00 – 8:00pm. There will be pizza provided in-between soundcheck and performance. We will check with musicians this week to see who is available for performance that night.
