Bach for Breakfast
Singing Strings organizers are pleased to be presenting an exciting musical program, ‘Bach for Breakfast’ as part of their fundraising event taking place in the Georgian Room of the Rodd Charlottetown hotel on Saturday, April 4th between 10:00am and 12:00pm.
The musical brunch will include some of the repertoire that the Senior Singing Strings will be performing on their upcoming visit to Vienna this coming July, as part of their participation in the Summa Cum Laude international music festival. There will also be a variety of beautiful solos, chamber music and even your favourite easy listening tunes. During the morning, you will be able to choose your favourite selection from a list provided at your table and have it performed by the orchestra for only a loonie!
Plan to spend some time browsing the silent auction tables and see the wonderful artwork donated by some of PEI’s most famous artists. The morning will be hosted by MC Nils Ling, who will also be auctioning off live one painting and one getaway holiday to the highest bidder.
Tickets are available from 9:00 until 4:00 at Park Royal church from Monday March 23rd until Thursday April 2nd, or you may also reserve tickets by calling (902) 672-2839. Book early to avoid disappointment as seating is limited!
