Come cheer on Judy, Connie and Sannu!

Tonight is the final competition of the music festival – the Junior and Senior Rose Bowl competition. Two Senior Singing String players (and one alumni) are competing tonight and would love your support! Judy Yun is competing in the Junior Rose Bowl, which starts at 6:30pm, and Connie Yun and Sannu Lawt are competing in the Senior Rose Bowl at 8:00pm; both are being held in the Dr. Steel Recital Hall at the UPEI Department of Music. Tickets are available at the door. See you there!

Another concert opportunity!

I don’t know whether you’ve noticed, but there is an Atlantic String Machine concert coming up this weekend – one we at the Singing Strings are very excited about!
And there are a few exciting BONUSES for this weekend which might interest you:

1. Tickets for this concert are FREE for children aged 12 and under. And the concert starts at 7:00pm, so gather all the kids and bring them along – we guarantee there will be music that they will recognize performed live!

2. If you have intermediate and high school students between the ages of 12-17, their ticket price is only $5 if they are accompanied by an adult.

3. You could win this weekend!! How? ASM are set to launch their debut CD this September at the Florence Simmons Performace Hall at Holland College, and you could WIN TWO FREE tickets to the CD launch as well as TWO FREE ASM CDs! All you have to do is attend the concert this weekend, and correctly name the most movie themes performed – that person will win two free tickets to the CD launch concert /event. Concert this weekend – free tickets!

Please email singingstringspei@gmail.com and let Natalie know if you are interested in the free tickets – only available for students – and children aged 12 and under are also free. There are tickets available at the door for $25 each.

Check out the video below to see and hear some of the music that will be played on Saturday night!
